My Story Begins
Saturday March 26th
I am just starting on my new journey of spreading the word. I originally started in the field of medicine in 1969 when I became a registered nurse in New York City. My first job was on an Oncology floor. I loved helping my patients and talking to them. What was hard, was coping with the pain as they passed away. So, I escaped to the operating room. I stayed working in the operating room area until 1973 when I entered Nurse Anesthesia training at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn New York. It was 3,600 bed hospital. Talk about experience! In 1975, I worked at Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. We did everything from Neurosurgery to Open Heart Surgery and more. I was just becoming aware that I had the ability to make people feel comfortable emotionally right before their surgery. In 1976 I moved out to California. I practiced anesthesia until 1987 when I had to give it up due to a torn disc in my lower back. The doctor who operated on Joe Montana recommended back surgery through an abdominal incision. I knew enough about surgery to know I needed to find another way. Then I discovered HYPNOSIS.
